The deal
By using Omigo Chat you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and any extra rules, notices or feature-specific terms that apply to particular parts of the service.
Don't agree? Then stop using the platform.
We may revise these terms. If you keep using Omigo Chat after a revision takes effect, you accept the revised version.
Who can use Omigo Chat
Omigo Chat is not for anyone under 18, or under the minimum age that applies where you live. You may use it only if the laws that apply to you allow it. By using the service you are telling us you meet that age.
Your account is your responsibility
The information you give us when you register, log in, verify, pay or fill in your profile has to be accurate, current and complete. Keep your login details to yourself; whatever happens through your account is on you.
- No accounts built on false, misleading or stolen information.
- No transferring, selling, renting or sharing your account without our permission.
- No getting around security checks, rate limits or access controls.
- If you think someone else got into your account, or you lost your credentials, tell us quickly.
What the service includes
Omigo Chat is a social platform for content and interaction. Depending on what is live at the time, that can include:
- Content and profiles. Create, upload, manage and share public-facing content where that feature exists.
- Messages and notices. Talk to other users directly and receive notifications about your account and activity.
- Matching and calls. Random matching, video matching, voice calls and video calls, where supported.
- Community spaces. Join clubs and other community areas and take part in social features.
- Purchases. Buy premium benefits, virtual items and other digital services we make available.
- Safety and account tools. Report, block, account settings and support, to manage your own experience.
Features change. We can add, modify, restrict, suspend or remove any of them for legal, operational, product, security or business reasons, and we don't promise any feature will stay available forever or run without interruption.
Calls, matching and messages
The platform can include direct messages, notices, club conversations, random matching, video matching, voice calls and video calls. Use them lawfully and with respect for the person on the other end.
You may not use them to stalk, threaten, extort, harass or scam anyone, to solicit illegal activity, to send malicious links, or to push someone into unsafe or prohibited behaviour.
- We don't guarantee who you will match with, whether people reply, or how good a call's quality will be.
- Whether to keep talking, and what to share, is your decision.
- If something feels abusive, suspicious or unsafe, use Block and Report (on the other person's profile) and the other safety tools.
Things you must not do
Use Omigo Chat lawfully and respectfully. In particular, do not:
- upload or share anything unlawful, infringing, fraudulent or misleading;
- post sexualized content involving minors, exploitative content, violent threats, hate speech, or anything else that breaks applicable safety standards;
- impersonate someone, misrepresent who you are, or mislead people about your relationship with any person or brand;
- use bots, scripts, automation, scraping, reverse engineering or other abusive technical means to access or manipulate the service;
- run scams, off-platform payment schemes, spam or other abusive commercial activity.
Further rules apply to publishing, comments, clubs, messaging and interaction; they are in the Community Guidelines. Breaking them can get content removed or the account restricted.
What you post, and who sees it
Depending on the feature and what you choose, your display name, avatar, public profile, videos, photos, comments and some posts can be seen by other users or by the public. You are responsible for everything you publish, upload, display or comment. Only share what you have the right to share and are comfortable making public.
- Public content can be viewed, shared, cached or indexed by search engines.
- Deleting it here does not guarantee it disappears straight away from search results, caches or other sites.
- Making sure your content breaks no law, no one else's rights and no platform rule is your job.
Coins, VIP and other purchases
Omigo Chat may sell coins, VIP memberships, virtual gifts, premium features, paid content and other digital goods. Prices, descriptions, eligibility and rules for each are shown on the relevant purchase, payment or account page.
Matched video calls can start with a free period. Before it runs out, the call shows a notice telling you that it will continue at a per-minute rate in coins, so you can decide whether to carry on.
Third-party providers may process payments. We don't necessarily store full card details, and the way a provider handles payment information can be governed by its own terms and privacy practices.
- Virtual items and digital benefits have no cash value, unless the law says otherwise.
- Completed purchases of digital goods, and services already used, are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or product rules say so.
- Fraud, chargebacks, payment abuse or suspected unauthorized use can lead to cancelled orders, limited features, account review or suspension.
- Access to anything you bought can depend on your account status, the product still being available, technical compatibility and our operating rules.
What belongs to whom
The software, interface design, branding, product structure, service content and other protected parts of Omigo Chat belong to Omigo Chat or its licensors, and intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws protect them.
You keep your rights in content you lawfully create and upload. You give us the permissions we reasonably need to host, display, process, moderate, distribute, store and operate it inside the platform and related services.
- Upload only what you have the right to use and publish.
- Do not copy, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer or exploit platform assets without permission.
- If your content infringes someone else's rights, the resulting claims, losses or enforcement may land on you.
Rights holders can send a notice through our Copyright page.
Third-party services and links
Login, payments, analytics, hosting, content delivery, support tools and plain web links can involve services we don't control, and some links open in an external browser. Those services run on their own terms and privacy notices; your dealings with them are between you and them, except where the law says otherwise.
- We don't guarantee that third-party services are available or secure.
- We aren't responsible for the content, policies or actions of websites and services we don't operate.
- Read the terms and privacy practices of any third party before you use it.
When we step in
We may investigate suspected breaches of these terms, our safety rules, payment rules, community standards or the law. Where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, users, partners or the public, we can:
- remove, restrict or disable content;
- warn you, or limit posting, messaging, matching or purchases;
- suspend, review, freeze or close an account;
- cancel transactions, withhold benefits or reverse platform-side grants where law and our rules allow;
- preserve relevant records and cooperate with legitimate legal or regulatory requests.
If an account is closed, some data may be removed or anonymized within a reasonable period. Certain records may be kept where needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, disputes or enforcement.
How we collect, use, store, share and protect personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. For questions about data rights, retention, cookies, sharing, third-party processing or children's privacy, that policy is the main reference. Nothing here limits rights you have under privacy or consumer-protection law.
What we can and can't promise
We work to keep Omigo Chat available, secure and useful. Still, to the extent the law allows, it is provided "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, that any feature will always be there, or any particular social, commercial or personal result.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by third-party services, user content, interactions between users, unauthorized access that results from you not protecting your credentials, or events outside our reasonable control.
Where the law forbids excluding or limiting liability, nothing in these terms does so.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, product design, legal requirements or risk controls. For material updates we may change the "Last reviewed" date and give notice on the platform or through another suitable channel. Continuing to use Omigo Chat once updated terms take effect means you accept them.
